Dr. Annalee C. Babb
Chief Executive Officer
Annalee C. Babb is the CEO of Invest Barbados, the investment promotion agency recently formed by Government to attract, win and nurture international investment in the form of capital, knowledge and high-level expertise for Barbados. IB is also charged with unleashing the export potential of the local services sector, taking the lead role in creating an investor-friendly local business environment, and helping to develop and manage the Barbados Brand.
Prior to joining Invest Barbados, Dr. Babb was an international consultant specialising in the strategic implications of national systems of innovation and new digital communications technologies, particularly the ways in which they affect how institutions respond to business and other opportunities in a constantly evolving competitive environment.
Dr. Babb is formerly the founder and CEO of Barbados-based consulting firm ACB Knowledge Consultants Inc., a former journalist, diplomat and academic whose experience includes a stint in venture capital financing.
