Dr. Ludovic C. Verbist, Ph.D., TEP

Ludovic Verbist, born 1953, holds degrees in law and as a notary from the University of Brussels (Belgium); he practised as a lawyer in Brussels. Also holds a M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the Business School at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana (United States).

Managing Director of AAMIL Ltd, a leading Trust Company with offices in Mauritius, Seychelles and Geneva and a presence in Mumbay and Luxembourg, Dr Verbist is based in  Geneva. Previously Managing Officer of Pargesa Holding S.A. in Geneva. Later, Chairman and Chief Executive of a fully-owned manufacturing company, operating in France and China. Before joining AAMIL, Managing Director of Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild in Mauritius. Writer and regular speaker at Conferences on International Taxation matters. Member of STEP and ITPA.
