Michael Doyle

Mr. Doyle attended Ouachita Baptist University where he received a B.A. in History, Political Science and Russian Language in 1993. Mr. Doyle went on to pursue a legal education at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he received his J.D. in 1996. While in law school he was selected to participate in a program at Cambridge University, Cambridge, England where he studied International Business Transactions and the Law of the European Union. Mr. Doyle has been admitted to the American and Arkansas Bar Association.

After being admitted to the State Bar of Arkansas, Mr. Doyle moved to Bangkok, Thailand in 1996 to develop his international legal career. His immersion in the Thai language and culture, and understanding of Thailand’s legal and business nuances have not only complimented, but, even redefined Seri Manop & Doyle’s international legal practice.

Mr. Doyle joined Seri Manop in 1999 and was named partner in 2002/2003. He has published two books entitled Doyle’s Practical Guide to Thailand Business Law in December 2004 (currently in 2nd edition)  and Doyle’s Practical Guide to Thailland Intellectual Property Law both of which are for sale in book stores all over Thailand and can be purchased online at asiabooks.com." As an occasional legal contributor to The Bangkok Post daily newspaper and key member of the US Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club, Mr. Doyle maintains a highly regarded involvement with US and European corporate entities and their executives in Thailand and Southeast Asia, while focusing his core areas of practice which include tax law, real estate law, corporate law and finance.
