Garth Melville

Garth Melville, a Chartered Accountant and a longstanding member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants is a member of STEP, with considerable experience in domestic and international commerce, companies, trusts and tax.

His domestic specialization is in structuring for property investors and traders and he is a well known regular contributor of articles for the N.Z Property Magazine on property investment and trading property, company, trusts and tax matters, as well as a regular speaker at New Zealand and offshore seminars. He is Managing Director of Company Solutions Limited, www.company-solutions.co.nz which undertakes the domestic assignments.

Garth’s NZ Securities Limited www.nzsecurities.com for international clients, advises on, forms and manages New Zealand Foreign Trusts for offshore clients, including many intermediary firms from around the Globe. These structures provide superior asset security and tax outcomes in what is known as an “onshore jurisdiction” which is a member of the O.E.C.D. but is not blacklisted by any other jurisdiction or body in the World. He also undertakes pre migration trusts for people migrating to New Zealand.

Garth is a member of the International Tax Planning Association. Also the Asia Offshore Association and has recently accepted a position on its Global Advisory Committee.
