The AOA

The Asia Offshore Association offers a platform for professionals and industry practitioners to exchange information, improve their knowledge and network with like-minded individuals regarding companies, trusts, foundations, fiduciary services, tax and estate planning and virtually any international business issue particularly related to the region.

Our members include lawyers, accountants, trustees, company formation and registered agents, bankers, fund managers, investment advisors and other professionals from all around the globe.

At the AOA, we strive to offer our members a unique opportunity to interact with colleagues from other jurisdictions, government officials and industry authorities with the intention to enhance the profile of the overall industry so as to assure a progressive and productive business environment for our members and excellent professional services for their clients.

We organize conferences and seminars, publish a newsletter and offer members industry updates, current articles, professional papers and a forum to develop business.


Our Goal

  • Improve ties between professionals in Asia.

  • Facilitate open communication channels with government bodies and related regulatory officials.

  • Encourage and enforce fair and ethical industry practice.

  • Create a forum to encourage international business by enhancing the interaction between practitioners form the east and west.

  • Support professional development and education.


Membership

Membership begins 1st January and ends 31st December of the same year. Should you join after 30th June, the annual fee will be reduced by 50%.

The AOA offers Corporate Membership and Individual Membership.

To become a member of the AOA, please download and complete the relevant form and fax and mail it to the Asia Offshore Association at the contact details below together with a copy of your company's certificate of incorporation and bank wire transfer confirmation or credit card details.

To renew your membership, we will send you a reminder and a renewal form before the end of the relevant year.

    The AOA has arranged for a special member price of US$2,500 per course, which is a US$500 discount.  Thomas Jefferson School of Law offers specialized graduate degrees and certifications through the Walter H. and Dorothy B. Diamond Graduate Law Program in International Tax and Financial Services. Established in 1998, the program remains the first and only one to offer graduate law degrees and certifications through an entirely online course of study at an ABA accredited law school.

    The AOA has arranged a 15% discount for any courses organized by Sheltons. Sheltons-SITTI (Sheltons International Tax Training Institute) conducts numerous in-house and open courses on international tax. These take place in various countries in Europe as well as in other parts of the world. All participants at Sheltons-SITTI courses receive substantial course documentation and Course Certificate and all courses qualify for CPE (Continuing Professional Education).
